Sprocket Gears Manufacturing
Sprocket gears are toothed wheels that mesh with a roller chain rather than with another gear, transmitting power between shafts that can sit far apart. They give a positive, slip‑free drive with a fixed ratio, which is why they run conveyors, elevators, crushers, mixers, packaging lines and agricultural machinery across every industry we serve. A chain drive tolerates dust, shock loads and less exacting shaft alignment better than a belt, and a worn sprocket can be replaced without rebuilding the rest of the drive.
At Mass Gear we cut sprockets in simplex, duplex and triplex forms, from compact keyed hubs to large spoked wheels more than 1.2 metres across. Each tooth form is generated to match the chain pitch and roller diameter, so the chain seats cleanly and wears evenly instead of riding up the teeth. Bores, keyways and hubs are machined to your shaft, and the teeth can be hardened for long life under heavy or continuous running. Send us the chain size, a drawing, or simply the worn sprocket, and we will make a replacement that fits the first time.

Send the chain size or pitch, tooth count, bore and keyway, and quantity — or a photograph of the worn sprocket. We quote from either.
